I was surprised once it came to room temperature how elastic it was again. We’ve been storing it in a plastic zippered back or you could use a food container in the fridge (that one my kids taught me) to keep it fresh longer. So, after originally making it, the kids asked to play with it again. The fun thing about slime (besides the glitter being everywhere) is that it lasts for more than one day. Then they started to see if they could use the slime as a lasso to rope Jack-Jack and swing him around. The kids found playing with the slime fun, but the most fun they had was letting the slime bury the different Jack-Jacks and then discovering him and pulling him out. You can see here the match is so good that he’s almost lost in the slime.Īnd the orange slime with red glitter was perfect for super-suited Jack-Jack. Since the red glitter was so over powering, we went back and made a clear orange slime just for Jack-Jack and his combustibility. I would say this takes about 5-10 minutes of playing to get it all mixed together nicely and not sticky. Once everything is good and mixed, you have to start massaging and playing with the slime. We did two at the same time (orange slime with red glitter and yellow slime with yellow glitter). Thankfully, we had 5 kiddos so there were tons of hands willing to stir and slowly pour. I knew I needed it to be clear to really make the orange pop to match fiery Jack-Jack (which you’ll see, we actually did TOO well). Right…the slime! I don’t want to give anything else away, but I did enjoy the movie and so did my little. The movie is rated PG because of this violence as well as a couple choice words (hell and “I’ll be damned” are the ones that I caught).Īlso, keep in mind, the movie itself is just shy of a 2 minute runtime and that doesn’t include previews. She did jump in my lap a couple times when the bad guy was on the screen, but she wasn’t too scared to look away or stop watching. There are a few scarier parts for little kids as well as some more intense fighting and violence. How about the kids?Īt 4.5, B hasn’t seen a ton of “scary” movies, but she’s seen some that are scarier than others. Their Incredible family is ready to keep the world safe. In true fashion, there’s trouble with the Supers and the Parr family is ready to help out. That’s what makes this family so Incredible. So after seeing the movie, and stumbling on a set of Jack-Jacks at the store, I knew that we needed to come home and make some Jack-Jack Slime! Our slime did NOT disappoint.Īs I mentioned, I’ve been waiting for this sequel for 14 years! That’s a long time! Basically since the first movie ended back in 2004! So, Incredibles 2 has been a long time coming. Incredibles 2 is one of the sequels I’ve been waiting for for a long time.
